PIECES TO TRANSITION TO FALL

it’s officially that time of year where it’s chilly in the mornings when we leave for work and then by lunch we’re taking off the layers. breathable layers are the key to these few weeks where the weather is a little unpredictable. here are a few pieces that you can keep in the rotation for a couple weeks longer and layer up together or with other pieces to stay comfortable and stylish throughout your long day.

LINEN BLEND BLAZER

IF You’re one who’s body temperature runs hot, linen is perfect for you with its breathability. IF you’re one who runs colder, linen is perfect to layer with and keep warm during the chilly mornings. The key is to find a linen blend with a little cotton, lightweight wool, cashmere, or silk to keep some of those wrinkles at bay.

short sleeve button up

don’t pack up the short sleeves up quite yet! You can pair them with your favorite chino or denim and get a few more weeks out of your summer prints. Throw a casual blazer over top to minimize the print, but still have a statement piece for your look.

LIGHT WEIGHT OVERCOAT

A tailored overcoat is the easiest layering, and arguably one of the most functional, pieces to add to your wardrobe. you can grab it if there’s a chance of rain that day, and, if it’s at least knee length, you’ll be able to keep the wind from whipping up into your coat.
